Nelson Edwards Company Architects LLC is a full service architecture and interior design firm providing comprehensive design services for institutional, historic preservation, commercial and residential clients throughout New England. Our projects include new construction, renovation and the very specialized typology of historic preservation.

Our firm was founded in 1996 with a strong commitment to craft, attention to detail and client needs. We believe that architecture, as a discipline, is a true process of collaboration as well as a responsive art. Our design process begins with the thorough understanding and synthesis of client goals with inherent characteristics of site, relevant land-use regulation and, where applicable, historical significance. Depending on client and project needs, we seek out and collaborate with appropriate specialized team members including landscape architects, civil, geo-technical, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineers, archaeologists, architectural historians and materials conservation consultants.  We work throughout the project to ensure close communication and coordination with all project stakeholders.
