13.8 million dollar addition and renovation to an existing elementary school for use as a K-8 Interdistrict Magnet School for 600 students. The 44,000 SF addition was designed to give new image to the school and to harmonize with the cost-conscious renovation of the 40,000 SF of existing spaces. Phaseing was of particular concern to permit the school to start operation simultaneously with the addition being built.

Awards: National School Boards Association Citation Winner, 2001.
